I used to go to that school, and my teacher didn't do anything about my bullies

it's a very good school, both academically and professionally. I like how all the students follow the school rules. I recommend it it's a very good school. I'm happy with how my children have improved academically.

I love the teachers and the school as a whole. Teachers are upbeat and engaging & challenge the students which I think is great. Sports are competitive at this school and we especially liked archery. Amazing principal and guidance teachers, great encore classes such as guitar, art, audio visual, choir, creative writing & more! Great location and curriculum. I highly recommend.

I’ve seen my child receive no support at this school at all. Unless you want your child to end up with a complex and problems with learning, don’t take them to this school.

I wish I could say something nice, but then I’d be lying. Being at this school made me feel like I was the main attraction in a circus. I look back on it now and realize that there was absolutely no reason for the stress I endured here.

My kid goes to this school and they are VERY not nice to my kids, he comes home and complains about them EVERY SINGLE DAY. like why would you think a kid is hiding a gun in their waistband, VERY INAPPROPRIATE, too strict.

The school is fantastic in how they engage with us as parents, how they share our son's performance, and how we can help him. Elements that we appreciate. THANKS!

Terrible experience. Never in my life have I ever seen a school that sets their students up for failure. They don’t off AP classes, they don’t have an opportunities, and their math system is so inflexible that students cannot learn a specific type of math unless they spend all 4 years at this school. Never going back.

St. James Academy has been an incredible experience for our family. The teachers are caring, dedicated, and focused on helping each child reach their full potential. The small class sizes make such a difference because every student is known and supported. The campus feels safe and welcoming, and the administration is thoughtful and responsive. The community of families is kind and involved, and the students are respectful and happy to learn. St. James is a place where children grow academically, socially, and spiritually. We are so thankful to be part of it.

As a former student of the middle school (despite its name, Anna Yates goes up to 8th grade), I warn every parent that cares about their student's academic and emotional wellbeing to send their kids somewhere else. At one point, they didn't even have a math teacher. It was a series of substitutes and then a projection of a teacher talking to them remotely. The discipline at this school is dismal. There are genuinely mentally unwell teachers at this school, who pick on the kids and choose sides like they're still 15 in some high school movie. The administration will almost always believe the staff. I have not only experienced this firsthand with about a handful of other students, but have witnessed this across grades as well. I will not go into detail, but the office does not know how to handle the simplest of issues without enlarging it and making it ten times worse. DO NOT send your kids to this school, and if you already have kids here, BELIEVE THEM and take them out.

Deeply Disappointed — Serious Bullying Problems and Poor Leadership Our family had high hopes when we enrolled our child at St. John, expecting a nurturing, faith-based environment. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. Bullying is an ongoing and serious problem here, and despite repeated reports and meetings, the administration — especially the principal — has done little to address it in a meaningful way. Many families share similar concerns, yet the response is always the same: vague promises, no follow-up, and no real change. Several excellent teachers who truly cared about the students have left over the past couple of years, and it’s easy to see why. The atmosphere has become negative and inconsistent, and morale among both staff and students seems very low. We had hoped for a Catholic school that would teach compassion, respect, and accountability, but sadly, those values don’t seem to be reflected in how problems are handled here. Until the leadership takes bullying seriously and makes an effort to retain quality teachers, I cannot recommend St. John to other families.

My daughter has an IEP. this school is REFUSING to honor her IEP AFTER suspending her and NEVER notifying any parent of her suspension. Their front office is unprofessional and I can understand why after my one and only interaction with their principal. She's so unprofessional I really don't know what questions they asked in her interview for the position that made them think she was a good fit to be in any space with children. Avoid at all costs

If your child is a psychopathic sycophant, they will definitely thrive here. There is zero support for any child not able to fall in line to their "one way" curriculum. If you are looking for a well rounded environment, this isn't it.

St Pius X in School is great place for only rich kids. Their principal is rude to women but nice to men. He has a big ego. In the morning when one drops kids off, they don't have enough stuff to supervise the drop off situation and it's a complete mess every morning. The principal yells at parents if they don't get in the right lane. He is very unprofessional and rude especially to women. On the positive, their math, Spanish, science, music and other teachers are super great! My kid is getting great education even though school is very political. My family is well off but if you are not, then you don't belong here in this school, and your kids won't make any friends and won't be happy.
