Canton High School

Shawn Cullen has been standing up for her son hate crime in town and on social media and agreeing with his ideology. She was also seen taking down Charlie Kirk memorial posters on conservative students lockers. The school is allowing this hate yet is in charge of our children.

Overall, this school is fantastic and pushes my bright child like nothing we have ever experienced. It’s the projects and long term planning and commitment where this school really shines. Real world skills are being formed at a young age, and they’re able to see difficult, big tasks aren’t roadblocks in life! The “new” principal is turning things around & the PTA has grown back, stronger than ever!

The Webb Schools
en Claremont, CA
As a recent graduate, I have watched Webb dive off a cliff. When I applied Webb was in the top 40 private schools in America, now they are not even in the top 100. This decline is largely due to an incompetent administration that seems more interested in social media appearances than in student well-being. Their claims about diversity feel like they are from a decade ago since around 60% of the school is Chinese. They have removed all AP classes in favor of their so-called “Advanced Studies” courses, eliminated all computer science offerings, and discouraged students from pursuing independent interests like outside competitions or events. Activities are so underfunded that students often have to finance school-affiliated projects themselves. Not only must the students fund thier own projects, the faculty are often incompetent of what they are teaching, in activities and in classes too, most students are self taught. Student happiness is an even greater concern. There are almost no school events, and campus is dead on weekends. The administration frequently conducts surveys that consistently reveal students are unhappy—only to do nothing in response. Students seeking help from counselors are often left disappointed by the lack of real support. Even being sick is treated as a disciplinary issue; the school will give you Tylenol and force you to attend class, even if you have a fever, and missing a couple classes will have you sitting forced to watch a wall for 5 hours on a Friday night. Webb frequently boasts about its college matriculation, but they often take credit for achievements they played no role in. College guidance routinely belittles students from aiming high, pushing them to apply to “safer” schools to maintain their precious 100% graduation statistic. This number is misleading—they don’t expel students, they quietly ask them to leave. The college guidance office provides resources only to select promising students, leaving the rest empty-handed, leaving them to do everything on thier own, even as the school sends newsletters bragging about early decision acceptances they had no hand in achieving. Webb offers only moderate academics at an outrageously steep and ever-increasing price. For your own well-being and future success, I strongly reiterate that you do not apply.

Moved from palo alto during covid times. This school is exceptional, way better than ovehyped palo alto schools. Atmosphere is very inclusive. Administration is very supportive. Environment is safe and teachers are all competent and genuinely love kids.

This school should be for the golf course and gated rockwood community. That’s who they cater to. The rich parents/teachers don’t make eye contact and they’ve totally left their roots behind. They even had to cave and change the 106 year old tradition to cinco de mayo to multi cultural night. Just make it private already. Give the working class a community again. It’s like a Tesla parade as well. If I could I’d switch. Smoke and mirrors if you can’t afford to be apart of. What a joke. The super is an ex parole officer. Come on. Where is the commitment to everyone getting an education.

As a parent who has moved around quite a bit, my son has attended several schools, but our experience at Benchley Weinberger Elementary has been truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the principal and staff made us feel incredibly welcome and valued. The school boasts a variety of fantastic programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of students. The environment is nurturing, supportive, and fosters a love of learning. The neighborhood surrounding the school is equally wonderful, filled with warm and successful people who create a positive community atmosphere. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Sharon Elementary
en Charlotte, NC
Our experience with this school and its staff has been devastating. Our child, who started first grade as a sweet, kind, and joyful kid, was quickly overwhelmed by the environment created by this school. Over time, we barely recognized him. He became constantly sad, blamed himself for everything, and felt the need to apologize even when he had done nothing wrong. The teacher failed our son on every level. Instead of supporting him, the accused him of having a mental health diagnosis—something that had never been confirmed or even discussed with a professional. This was both inappropriate and deeply damaging. It felt as though they were more interested in labeling him and pushing for medication to make their jobs easier than in understanding or helping him. The school administration was equally disappointing. The assistant principal never reached out to address our concerns, and when I spoke to the school counselor (who was new), she offered no real support and failed to follow up.

They are permitting the lunch lady to deprive kids of food there, and they aren’t taking any action about it. The principal was notified and she has failed these students!!! Be aware of this!

Both of my kids went to Whitehall. There were one or two teachers I didn’t care much for, but overall, I had a good experience at Whitehall. The kids learned at school, but as parents, it's also our job to follow up on their work and make sure to talk to them.

My son has been in this school for 3 years, he is now 3rd grade student there. He likes the school and even wished the summer vocation could be sort, so he could meet his classmates and teachers earlier. I won't talk more since nothing is important than his love to his school.

This school has been permanently closed by the Rome City School District and is scheduled for demolition due to a persistent mold problem and occasional flooding because it was built on the floodplain of the Mohawk River, (not more than 60 feet from from the river).

Wendell L. Cross School

I feel that Wendell Cross is a school that is catered to the students that refuse to learn; all other students are left behind to suffer due to this focus.
