Project Lead the Way (PLTW) - Angola Campus Transfer Credits

Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ partners with Project Lead the Way to help meet the ever-increasing demand for engineers, technologists and medical professionals to serve today's leading industries.

(PLTW) is a nonprofit organization that offers middle school and high school programs to help students learn and prepare for engineering, technology and medical careers. Through PLTW pathways in computer science, engineering and biomedical science, students not only learn technical skills, but also learn to solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate and collaborate.

Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ recognizes that PLTW programs help prepare students for high-demand engineering, technology and professional medical careers, which require higher education like that offered in Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ's Allen School of Engineering and Computing or the Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences.

The university supports PLTW by:

  • Offering a renewable scholarship, the Project Lead The Way Tuition Award, to students who have participated in PLTW programs during high school.
  • Awarding college credit for PLTW courses that have been completed with a grade of "B" or better for Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ engineering, computer majors, and health science majors.
