All Trine education graduates employed for 14th straight year

For the 14th straight year, all of ӣƵ’s graduates from the Franks School of Education who were seeking employment as teachers are working in the classroom.

The school reported 100 percent employment for the Class of 2025, with its 27 graduates obtaining teaching positions this fall.

“A 14-year streak of perfect employment is impressive in any field,” said Alecia Pfefferkorn, dean of the Franks School of Education. “The continual demand for graduates from the Franks School of Education speaks volumes about the quality of our graduates and the education they receive here, as well as the dedication and expertise of our faculty.”

Graduates from Trine’s Class of 2025 are employed in Argos Community Schools, Bronson (Michigan) Community Schools, Edon (Ohio) Northwest Local School District, Fort Wayne Community Schools, Fremont Community Schools, Lakeland School Corporation, the Metropolitan School District of Steuben County, Napoleon (Ohio) Area Schools, Northwest Allen County Schools, Plymouth Community School Corporation, Prairie Heights Community Schools, School City of Hammond, Smith-Green Community Schools and Twin Lakes School Corporation, as well as schools in Tennessee and Virginia.

Pfefferkorn said the Franks School of Education is expecting a record number of graduates in 2026, with 43 students expected to earn their degrees.

“Despite declines in the number of teacher education students nationwide, Trine’s Franks School of Education is still setting records,” she said. “More students are discovering how our passionate faculty, state-of-the-art technology and extensive connections with area school districts can prepare them to make an impact as educators."
